Chas and Amy married in 2003 and have 4 children, Emma, Charlie, Caleb, and Levi. Chas was called to ORBC in 2012, after serving as Church Planter/Pastor at Living Stone Community Church in Ohio for 6 years. Before that he served as the Music Minister at New Colony Baptist Church from 2002-2006. Chas received his BM at East Texas Baptist University where he met his wife Amy. He went on to receive his MDiv at Liberty University and DMin at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Chas’s desire is to narrow the gap between the seminary desk and the pew by faithfully teaching the Word of God and equipping the people of God for the work of ministry.
John and his family came to ORBC in 2021. He was born and raised in the Houston area, along with his wife Catherine. John and Catherine have been married for 10 years and have 4 children, Joey, Robby, Sarah, and Sophia. His hobbies include bike riding, woodworking, and playing a variety of musical instruments. In his own words: John’s objective at ORBC is to “Help facilitate worship through organization, leadership, and example.”
Dominic, also known as DM, joined ORBC in 2023. He was born in Texarkana, Texas and was raised in Maine. His family includes his 2 dogs, Luke and Jesse. Dominic enjoys catnaps, reading, and figuring out the Law and Order culprit before the detectives on the show. In his own words: DM’s objective at ORBC is to “Accurately teach Scripture in deed and truth, from the pulpit and the pew.”
Chad and his family joined ORBC in 2022. He’s a “good ole East Texas boy” from Pickton, Texas, where he cultivated a love for camping and fishing. Chad also enjoys bowling with his wife Kaley. They have been married for 19 years and have 2 children, Hayden and Gwyneth. In his own words: Chad’s objective at ORBC is to “Help the youth grow in grace and knowledge of God.”
Ms. Millie has been a member of ORBC since 2008. She was born in Wisconsin and grew up in Illinois, where she met Don, her husband of 58 years. Millie and Don have 2 children, one son, Sean, and one daughter, Aimee. She previously served as a teacher for 18 beautiful years and now enjoys reading and sewing in her spare time.
